All,

The American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) was held this week and is concluding today (9.3.21).

This was a terrific event for Bioventus and while attendance was down from years past the meetings with customers (orthopedic surgeons), analysts and media was high quality and most importantly the interest level around Bioventus and all we are doing was sky high!

There was great buzz around the Bioventus booth and our customers recognized the many positive changes in our business the past 18 months particularly during a challenging time.  Once again demonstrating the strength and resilience of our team!

Importantly the goal of 125 solid customer leads was achieved after only two days as we had 130 leads through yesterday due to the terrific job of our sales and marketing team manning the booth.

Many of our surgeon customers expressed strong excitement for where Bioventus was going and appreciated our goals of double digit growth and the larger scale we are aiming for to ensure the strong continued future success of the company.

We had a stellar team in attendance and you can look at the pictures on social media as well as the Bionet website once they get posted.  The booth looked fantastic and every product was well highlighted including StimRouter, our PNS device, which had a lot of new interest from orthopods.  Bioventus was also highly visible across the meeting with product specific posters and signs not only across the meeting venue but also across the city of San Diego!

Special thanks for the leadership of John Nosenzo, Katrina Church, Vivek Munshi, Phil Stead, Mark Geiger, Tom Hill, Steven Moore, Vineeth Varghese, Barbara Silvernail, Mark Harbaugh and the booth leadership of Derek Hurdle and Mike Bauer!  It was a true team effort that was made complete by a hardworking and cohesive team across marketing, sales, compliance and our medical liaison team!  It was also great to see Team Canada come to the meeting!

Well done by all.

Best Regards,

Ken
