Air Systems Being Installed in Bioventus Offices

Keeping our employees safe at our offices during this time is paramount at Bioventus. We heard many concerns about air quality and air circulation and wanted to do more.

Announced earlier this month, the EnviroKlenz® Air System Plus  is now installed in conference rooms throughout our Durham office and installation will be complete in Memphis on Friday. Air Systems for use in conference rooms in Mississauga and Hoofddorp are shipping in the coming days.

The EnviroKlenz Air System Plus safely and effectively combines advanced chemistry technology, germicidal ultraviolet light (UVC), and high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filtration to capture and destroy airborne toxic and noxious gasses, particulates, allergens, bacteria, viruses, and other allergy triggers.

In particular, the air cartridge is proven effective against pathogens and the system’s HEPA filter captures harmful dust, particulate, allergens and microorganisms.

In addition, the EnviroKlenz Air System has UVC lamps- located before (and radiating on) the collection side of the HEPA filter. Unlike systems that depend on killing/inactivating the organisms as they pass through the UVC light in a very short period of time, the UVC light is continuously shining on the collected organisms with high efficiency of kill.

The EnviroKlenz Air System treats 250 cubic feet per minute on the highest speed setting and can achieve 3-5 air exchanges per hour in the area it serves.
