Bioness Branding Integration
by Brooke Farrar
In six short months an incredible amount of activity as it relates to the Bioness integration has taken place. A major factor in the effective, yet ongoing, integration efforts involves the methodical review of Bioness branding properties and successfully transferring most to reflect the Bioventus brand while stewarding the Bioness brand for the Rehab portfolio.
Earlier this summer, a team of cross functional collaborators came together to identify major milestones that needed to take place in order for the branding integration process to be smooth. The first component to the branding integration process focused on the PNS (StimRouter) and updating website, digital assets, collateral and materials. The goal was to have these items fully updated towards the end of August, which is when the AAOS took place in San Diego. Additionally, the decision was made to rename the Rehab business to: Bioness, a Bioventus Rehab Company. More details on this aspect of the integration can be found below.
The AAOS was a critical juncture as it served as an opportunity to introduce StimRouter to the orthopedic space with the new Bioventus branding elements included. For all intents and purposes, it was a success. The Bioventus booth was full of interest from surgeons who discussed the greater societal need of better treatment options for patients with chronic pain. While orthopedic surgeons are not a main call point, their interest will prove to be a huge referral source to pain physicians in multispecialty practices.
With the conclusion of AAOS, the PNS team were migrated internally. This means they now have a Bioventus email address and access to order Bioventus business cards through the sales portal, as well as rebranded collateral. A snapshot of what the PNS business cards look like can be found below.

In the remaining months of 2021, the Core Team will continue to focus on transferring tradeshow assets, migrating all social media platforms and the launch of new products websites (L300, H200, BITS, Vector) and OUS updates. As previously mentioned, a significant milestone that affected Rehab specifically included a rename (Bioness, a Bioventus Rehab Company). Their new logo is featured below. This transition is scheduled to be complete by the end of the year and will include all of their digital assets, website, collateral and materials.
We will continue to keep you posted on the progress of the Core Team. Many thanks to those involved:
