All,

We are proud to announce the listing of our stock on The Nasdaq Global Market (“Nasdaq”) under the ticker symbol “BVS”!  Today will be the first trading day as a public company, a significant step in the history of Bioventus.

This is an exciting milestone for all of us and on behalf of our entire Executive Team, I want to express my appreciation for all of your contributions to the success of our company with this achievement!

You have grown Bioventus to become a global leader in Innovations for Active Healing impacting well over a thousand patients on a daily basis with our impactful medical devices.  This is a significant step and one that will open the door to a future of significant potential allowing us to build our company and execute our strategy with the resources of the public markets now behind us.

This was a very involved process and I want to thank everyone who had a hand in getting us to this special milestone: Greg Anglum, Ben Fishburn, Adriana Polcaro, Jim Lipkovich, Jeremy Donabedian, Jeannine Nieto, Brett Sprehe, Brendan Byrnside, Tony D’Adamio, Tom Brady, Leigh Ann Stradford, Sharon Dearing, Tom Hill, Scott Petrie, Ray Boshold, Barry Cooper, Diane Schabinger, Jeannie Hutton, Angie Edwards, Jessica Gidney, Megan Cappy, Sean Hagarty, Brian Poole and our Board.

While we cannot predict the potential of fluctuations of our stock particularly early on the long term value of BVS will be determined by each one of us and our dedication to and focus on core value drivers understood in our business and summarized below.  These value drivers will be accomplished through consistent execution and focus by each one of us.

  • Consistent revenue growth achieving double digit growth over the course of the coming quarters – this will be achieved by continued high single digit organic growth, R&D/product development with new product launches on a consistent basis and acquisitions of new products (M&A) that have the potential for higher growth then our historic organic growth of just over 7%
  • Strong commercial operations with a sales and sales support team that is superior in talent, skill and motivation and the ability to take all of our products to market leadership positions
  • Consistent improvement in our business from an overall operations, quality and communications/prioritization perspective.  Importantly staying ahead of bottlenecks in our execution that could hinder the ability to achieve double digit growth

Most importantly, it will come down to our culture as we build a business focused on achieving meaningful results and a focus on caring, learning and growing as individuals and ultimately as a company.  How we do business will always be just as important as what we accomplish keeping in mind our responsibilities to the patients we serve as an ethical and compliant medical device company.

We will celebrate this achievement with a virtual celebration later today and also a short Town Hall Meeting on Friday announcing a new benefit we can now offer as a public company.
