Monday, March 22,  is the first day of our employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) enrollment period and this important program brings us together as a company and is one of the many benefits of our public offering last month. As you consider your participation in the ESPP and the opportunity to be a shareholder in the company, know that we as an organization are committed to you. That’s why we have designed the program in a way we believe can assist you in achieving your short and long term financial goals:

  • Our first enrollment period will be March 22 – April 2, 2021 and the offering period will run from April 5 – June 30, 2021.
  • Automatic payroll deduction of 1-15% of your after-tax pay can be contributed to purchasing the stock
  • Our plan offers a “Look back”  – the ability to purchase the company stock at the lower price on first day of the offering period (also called enrollment date) or the purchase date, whichever is lower and at a 15% discount.

I encourage you to use the ESPP open enrollment period to thoroughly review the benefits of the ESPP program. As with all of the benefits Bioventus offers you, it is important to take the time to understand what it means to you based on your own situation and think carefully about your participation. Remember as with all stock there is risk and that risk also translates into external factors that are beyond the company’s control so please weigh that carefully when deciding to participate.
