All,

As we enter the final four weeks of a transformative year we have much to be proud of as we look back, look forward and focus on our key priorities to close the year.

I hope you all have a couple of BIG PLAYS left to close the year with a bang!

2021 has been memorable year for BVS, from our successful IPO, to the acquisitions of Bioness and Misonix, successful product launches such as the OsteoAmp Flowable, our consistent double digit growth throughout the year and our impact on over a half a million patients.  We are either the market leader, growth leader or technology leader in every market we participate in. Bioventus is making an impact in our world, our communities and hopefully with each one of you personally and professionally!

Ultimately our success is based on our culture and what each one of us does every day to support and advance our organization.

Our culture of delivering Results, building and maintaining relationships of mutual trust through Caring and consistently seeking to Learn and grow ourselves is the foundation of who we are and this is the reason for our success make no mistake about it!

Our culture is supported and maintained by our Behaviors, Symbols and Systems.

  • Our Behaviors each day send a message about who Bioventus is and what we stand for.  For example, if you are a sales representative you may be all our customers know about Bioventus and their judgement of the company comes down to your behavior and how you represent us.  As a manager and leader what you do is so much more important than what you say as we all know actions speak greater than our words.  No matter your role your behaviors each day dictate our culture of excellence.
  • Many things we do on a daily basis are Symbolic of our culture and who we are.  This can be anything from our professional and compliant approach to our business, our smile or eye contact we make with everyone we meet, to opening the door for someone in need or importantly helping a patient in need through the direct interaction we often have with our ultimate customer.  These traits are all symbolic of who we are at Bioventus.
  • We also have Systems in place that support our culture.  We have a merit pay system, CEO awards and other awards that recognize teams and individuals for achieving Results and going above and beyond what is asked.  These systems reward for excellence in performance and for employees that display the best our company has.  When we evaluate performance we also look at not only WHAT was accomplished but also HOW it was accomplished to ensure we are achieving Results within the cultural, relational and ethical boundaries we set.

As we complete our final four weeks of an amazing 2021 let’s keep pushing hard to achieve our end of the year priorities as we start looking forward to a very exciting 2022!

Importantly, let’s also keep in mind the amazing culture we have built that has gotten us to where we are and a culture that we all own through our own actions!
