Greg Olsen Returns as the Face of EXOGEN in the US

AHT Marketing is pleased to announce Bioventus has officially agreed to partner with NFL All-Pro Tight End, Greg Olsen again in 2020.

“Greg will remain the face of EXOGEN nonunion patients in 2020 and he will appear in targeted campaigns, including taking over our EXOGEN Instagram page for a couple of days,” said Derek Hurdle, Director of US Marketing, Active Healing Therapies. “In March, Greg will also be in attendance on behalf of the company at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons convention in Orlando and again in May at the Physician Assistants Orthopaedic Surgeon conference in Charlotte.”

As you may recall, Olsen was an EXOGEN patient in 2018. A nonunion fracture sidelined him from playing and EXOGEN helped heal his fracture allowing him to return for the 2019 season with the NFL’s Carolina Panthers. In 2019, Olsen agreed to become a spokesperson for EXOGEN, shooting a video testimonial for Bioventus and appearing at AAOS in Las Vegas. His likeness also appeared on sales collateral and EXOGEN direct marketing campaigns in the US.

The Panthers missed the playoffs this season and fired their head coach in November. Many more changes appear on the horizon and although Olsen is signed with the Panthers for the 2020 season, the club may elect to trade or release him from his contract or he may ask them to do so. This could allow him to play for another team or retire from professional football. Olsen is reportedly considering several options, which include a post-retirement career in the NFL broadcast booth.
