Nominations are Being Accepted for the 2019 Bioventus Employee Awards
It’s time to nominate your peers and direct reports as Bioventus prepares to once again recognize employees who made exceptional contributions to the company in 2019. Recognition can come either in the scope of their current role or through special projects or initiatives beyond their daily responsibilities.
Such contributions will have supported the achievement of 2019 Business Objectives and demonstrated support of our Vision, Mission, and Culture Principles: Achieve Goals, Develop Ourselves, Impact Patients and Value Others.
If you know of someone that is deserving of rewards and recognition, the first step is nominating that person for a CEO Award. All employees may nominate any one of their colleagues for this award and there may be more than one recipient of the CEO Award.
All CEO Award winners are then eligible for the big awards.
Major Impact Award
The Major Impact Award recipient will be an employee who meets the CEO Award criteria and whose performance contributed significantly to our Company’s business results in 2019 and potentially beyond. The Executive Leadership Team will choose one recipient from those nominated for a CEO Award.
Ultimate Team Player Award
The Ultimate Team Player Award recipient will be an employee who meets the CEO Award criteria and who is a role model in demonstrating the Culture Principles. The recipient will have exceeded the expectations of his or her daily responsibilities to ensure a team (group/department/Company) reached its goals. The Executive Leadership Team will choose one recipient from those nominated for a CEO Award.
Key Innovator Award
The Key Innovator Award recipient will be an employee who meets the CEO Award criteria and who implemented positive change and business results that required creativity, innovation, and the tenacity to drive the change. The Executive Leadership Team will choose one recipient from those nominated for a CEO Award.
Philanthropy Award – New for 2019
The Philanthropy Award recipient will be an employee who meets the CEO Award criteria and exemplifies the Culture Principle – Develop Ourselves through their work to transform the lives of those outside of Bioventus.
“We have revised 2019 Employee Awards to reflect the Culture Principles and an exciting new award has been added for philanthropy, said Leigh Ann Stradford, SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer. “The ELT is in full support of this new award category that demonstrates our commitment to our employees continuing to grow outside of Bioventus. It is a $5,000 award to the individual winner, plus a $5,000 donation to charity of their choice.”
You can learn more about the nomination process here and find a CEO Award nomination form here. The deadline for submission is January 31, 2020 and all nominations are reviewed by our CEO Tony Bihl, and the rest of the Executive Leadership Team. Tony will announce our winners during the first quarter 2020.
