All,
As we enter the final two months of our fiscal year it is gut check time on where you stand relative to your goals, objectives and plans to finish the year strong. If we were running a race we are in the final lap, the bell has sounded and we are pushing ourselves harder to cross the finish line and we are running strong!
Combined as a group, we are even stronger, we are a tough, resilient organization and our success comes down to each of us performing and doing our jobs to the best of our ability and sometimes going above and beyond to reach personal and company goals.
As mentioned last week in the Town Hall with the combined Bioventus/Misonix team, the remaining two months of this year are a time to close the year strong and focus on that.
This is true across the business as we fulfill our Mission of returning patients to active lives through our amazing medical devices that truly make a difference each and every minute of every day. With the combined impact of Misonix with Bioventus we are impacting over 600,000 patients per year which comes down to every 52 seconds of every hour and day a new patient is benefiting from one of our products!
The priorities of the business these last two months are very clear and in order of priority are the following;
- Achieve our revenue and EBITDA goals – we should all understand what these are and how we can positively impact this based on your role in the organization
- Achieve your personal and our corporate objectives
- Complete the aspects of the Bioness integration that are slated for this year
- Develop the integration plan for Misonix which involves a smaller group of people
Everything else is secondary to these priorities and as we round the corner on the final lap of the 2021 “race of a lifetime” let’s have our culture be the difference maker! Focus on what the action plan needs to be for you or your team and what is required by you to obtain your goals. Work together, cheer each other on as we achieve successes and reach milestones and more importantly bring each other up and help each other out when we encounter a roadblock or obstacle! Develop and grow yourself as we build this double digit high performing business that we can all be proud of and have fun working in. We are nimble, agile and will always respond to what the market throws our way! We all have the opportunity to make this last lap (last two months) the best one yet in 2021!
