Dear Bioventus Colleagues,

Like all of you, the Executive Leadership Team and I are saddened by the senseless death of George Floyd and the events since whereby peaceful protests and dialog, meant to call out and correct such unconscionable transgressions, have turned ugly in cities in the US and elsewhere. Too many African American people, and other people of color, have been harassed and inappropriately targeted by certain members of our society that are supposed to be without bias. Worse yet are those like George who have lost their lives due to the completely unacceptable actions of fellow citizens and authorities.

This is wrong, this behavior must stop, and we stand with those that peacefully protest and speak out against these actions. In addition, we will not allow our employees to be subjected to racial slurs, foul language or intolerant customers. We will discontinue business with individuals and entities that engage in this mistreatment of our people.

At Bioventus, our culture is founded on four principles, one of which is Valuing Others. We value all of our employees and we actively foster an inclusive environment where we can be ourselves and our best regardless of race, gender, religious, political and or sexual orientation.

We stand with those that seek to bring us together and believe the best of our leaders, and our neighbors, will move us forward to fix what is broken and move toward a better tomorrow. We commit to do our part whenever and wherever we can.

Sincerely,

Ken Reali Greg Anglum Tony D’Adamio John Nosenzo
