The Meeting Was Virtual, but the Inspiration Was Real

The second week of February in 2021 will go in history for many reasons. Not only did Bioventus go public and appear on the NASDAQ under BVS, the US AHT and Surgical teams participated in the first ever completely virtual annual sales meeting.

After a kickoff from John Nosenzo (2020 Year In Review), attendees also heard from CEO – Ken Reali.  From there, the AHT and Surgical teams split to hear from and Vice Presidents of Sales – Phil Stead (AHT) and Andrew Hosmer (Surgical).  They then began a round of breakout sessions and learning blocks tailored to the needs of their businesses.

Even in a virtual setting, engagement was high! Attendees were able to connect with their peers and colleagues on a variety of meaningful topics that will undoubtedly drive growth for Bioventus in 2021.

On Friday, the meeting concluded a special guest speaker, Alex Sheen.

Alex is the founder of the non-profit organization, Because I Said I Would. His organization is a social movement dedicated to the betterment of humanity through promises made and kept. Through his emotionally charged talk, Alex challenged BSM attendees to follow through on their promises – in both their personal and professional lives. No doubt that Alex Sheen and his motivational message capped off a successful virtual meeting!
