As you may know, Bioventus supports medical missions around the world through the Grants and Donations Program and also annually supports the Arthritis Foundation. In addition, Bioventus colleagues around the world have donated to local food drives, collected art supplies for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital patients, participated in numerous walks/runs/marathons and mentored numerous children throughout the years.

This year, Bioventus made an increased commitment to charitable efforts by providing all employees with a day away from work with pay to take part in their personal Philanthropy Day of Giving.

“In 2018, the Culture Team recommended we continue this support by providing each employee a paid day to volunteer for a cause that is important to you and the Executive Leadership Team supported this recommendation,” said Leigh Ann Stradford, SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer. “We want to encourage each of you to use this time in support of the causes important to you.”

Make no mistake, these small efforts to reach out to help those in need can make a real difference positively impacting society and serving as an opportunity for personal development.

“Please share your experiences with us by posting some photos on Instagram or on LinkedIn using the hashtag – #BioventusLife, so all can see your great work,” said Leigh Ann. “So far, nearly 100 employees have taken advantage of this benefit and you can see some of it reflected on the BioventusLife page on Bionet.

To utilize this added benefit, request “volunteer time off” in Workday for approval by your Manager.
